Description

The TDA8948J is designed as one kind of 4-channel audio amplifier device that contains four identical audio power amplifiers. This device can be used in (1)Television; (2)PC speakers; (3)Boom box; (4)Mini and micro audio receivers applications. Also it is available in a 17-pin Dil-Bent-Sil (DBS) power package and is pin compatible with the TDA8944AJ, TDA8946AJ and TDA8947J.

Features of the TDA8948J are:(1)SE: 1 W to 18 W, BTL: 4 W to 36 W operation possibility (2.1 system) Soft clipping; (2)Standby and mute mode; (3)No on/off switching plops; (4)Low standby current; (5)High supply voltage ripple rejection; (6)Outputs short-circuit protected to ground, supply and across the load; (7)Thermally protected; (8)Pin compatible with TDA8944AJ, TDA8946AJ and TDA8947J.
