TL851N

The TL851N is an economical digital I2L ranging control integrated circuit.It is designed for distance measurement from six inches to 35 feet.It has an internal oscillator that uses a low-cost external ceramic resonator.

Features of the TL851N are:(1)operates with single supply;(2)accurate clock output for external use;(3)synchronous 4-bit gain control output;(4)internal 1.2-V level detector for receive;(5)TTL-compatible;(6)interfaces to electrostatic or piezoelectric transducers.

The absolute maximum ratings of the TL851N can be summarized as:(1)voltage range at any pin with respect to GND:-0.5V to 7V;(2)voltage range at any pin with respect to VCC:-7V to 0.5V;(3)continuous total dissipation at 25 free-air temperature:1150mW;(4)operating free-air temperature range:0 to 40;(5)storage temperature range:-65 to 150;(6)lead temperature 1.6mm from case for 10 seconds:260.
