USD245C

The USD245C is designed as one kind of hermetic schottky rectifiers which is ideally suited for output rectifiers and PWM protection in high efficiency, low voltage, high reliability switching power supplies. It conbines schottky rectifiers in one convenient package, thus simplifying installation and reducing component parts count.

USD245C has seven features. (1)MIL-S-19500 type screening available. (2)Extremely low Vf and Ir. (3)High surge capability. (4)Low recovered charge. (5)Rugged hermetic package, o pressure contacts. (6)Dual rectifier in one package. (7)Available in reverse polarity (CR). Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of USD245C have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its peak repetitive reverse voltage would be 45V. (2)Its working peak reverse voltage would be 45V. (3)Its DC blocking voltage would be 45V. (4)Its non-repetitive peak reverse voltage would be 54V. (5)Its average forward current (50% duty cycle) would be 6A for full wave configuration and would be 4A for either leg alone. (6)Its average forward current 50% duty cycle either leg alone would be 2A. (7)Its non-repetitive peak surge current would be 80A for 8.3ms, half sine wave. (8)Its operating and storage junction temperature range would be from -65°C to 175°C. (9)Its thermal resistance junction to ambient would be 175°C/W. (10)Its thermal resistance junction to case would be 15°C/W. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of USD245C are concluded as follow. (1)Its maximum instantaneous reverse current would be 2mA. (2)Its maximum instantaneous reverse current would be 20mA. (3)Its maximum instantaneous forward voltage woud be 0.40V at If=1A and would be 0.56V at If=2A and would be 0.68V at If=4A. (4)Its capacitance would be 450pF. And so on.
