The WS57C43 is designed as the extremely High Performance 32K UV Erasable Electrically Re-Programmable Read Only Memory (RPROM) that has seven points of features: (1)ultra fast access time: tACC=25 ns and tCS=12 ns; (2)low power consumption: 200 mA standby Icc; (3)immune to latch-up: up to 200 mA; (4)ESD Protection Exceeds 2000 V;(6)Available in 300 and 600 Mil DIP, CLLCC, and Flatpack;(7)Pin Compatible with 4K x 8 Bipolar PROMs.

This device WS57C43 is manufactured in an advanced CMOS technology which enables it to operate at Bipolar PROM speeds while consuming only 25% of the power required by its Bipolar counterparts, and is configured in the standard Bipolar PROM pinout which provides an easy upgrade path for systems which are currently using Bipolar PROMs, or its predecessor.

The absolute maximum ratings of the WS57C43 can be summarized as:(1)Storage Temperature: -65°C to + 150°C;(2)Voltage on any Pin with Respect to Ground: -0.6 V to +7 V;(3)VPP and A9 with Respect to Ground: -0.6 V to +14 V;(4)ESD Protection: >2000 V.
