XRD6440

The XRD6440 is composed of 16 individual 10bit successive approximation AD converters operated in a time interleaved fashion. A single resistor string with multiple taps generates reference voltages. This string is shared by all 16 converter channels, so any non-linearity (differential and integral) is common to all 16 channels

Some absolute maximum ratings of XRD6440 have been concluded as several points as follow. (1)Its Vdd to GND would be +7V. (2)Its Vrt & Vrb would be from Vdd+0.5V to GND-0.5V. (3)Its Vin would be from Vdd+0.5V to GND-0.5V. (4)Its all inputs would be from Vdd+0.5V to GND-0.5V. (5)Its outputs would be from Vdd+0.5V to GND-0.5V. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to +150°C. (7)Its package power dissipation rating to 75°C would be 100mW for TQFP and would be 18mW/°C for derates above 75°C and would be 500mW for SSOP and would be 20mW above 75°C for derates above 75°C. (8)Its lead temperature soldering 10 seconds would be +300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of XRD6440 are concluded as follow. (1)Its differential non-linearity would be min -1.0LSB and typ +/-0.7LSB and max 1.0LSB. (2)Its integral non-linearity would be typ +/-1.1LSB. (3)Its zero scale error would be typ +/-20mV. (4)Its analog input voltage range would be min AGND and max VRTR. (5)Its input resistance would be typ 34k. (6)Its input capacitance would be typ 5pF and max 8pF. (7)Its input bandwidth would be typ 400MHz. (8)Its maximum conversion rate would be min 40MSPS and typ 60MSPS. (9)Its minimum conversion rate would be typ 100KSPS. (10)Its pipeline delay (latency) would be typ 12 CLK. (11)Its apeture delay time would be typ 4ns. (12)Its apeture jitter time would be typ 12ps. (13)Its digital output rise time would be 10ns typ. (14)Its digital output fall time would be 10ns typ.
