Frequency is determined by pot R1 in feedback path. Square-wave output pulse amplitude is about 5 V. Circuit will generate almost perfect sine waves if 0.1-μF capacitor is connected between pin 12 and ground; R1 must be properly adjusted to give output of about 220 Hz. - F. M.
