The waveform generated by the two-phase rectifier illustrates that the ripple is less than half that of a conventional single-phase circuit's wavefrom. Also,the ripple frequency is double that of the conventional circuit. The circuit amplitude changes in the ac input signal very rapidly,and it works equally will with current or voltage inputs.
