When duty cycle exceds 1%, countdown begins and duty cycle is held at about 1%. Uses voltage-controlled useable mvbr consisting of Q2, Q3, and Q4, which runs unsynchronized with input prf.-C. Samocki, Duty-Cycle Limiter, EEE, 13:9, p 76.
