Basic1595 multiplier block and 741 current-to-voltage converter convert input voltages Ex and Ey to output equal to one-tenth of their product when connected as shown for multiplier use. To operate as squarer of Ex, connect pins 4 and 9 together and omit R5 and R6 at Ey input. Output is then one-tenth of square of Ex.-W. G. Jung, IC Op-Amp Cookbook, Howard W.
