Common adder(741 1458) circuit diagram is shown as above. Figure (a) is the inverting addition circuit, the input-output relationship is: Vo =- (Vil + Vi2).When you need the same addition, you can use the circuit shown in figure (b), the input-output relationship is: Vo = Vil + Vi2.
