Used in plotting amplitude-distribution density of noise and vibration signals over range of 1 to 10,000 cps. Section A samples d-c biased input signal between zero and positive half of slice width. Section B similarly handles negative half. Output of B is inverted and biased in d-c amplifier to produce positive square wave. Recorder plots average of combined outputs from A and B sections.-D. J.
