This circuit shows how a simple switch-mode motor controller can be made using an LT1005 multifunction regulator. Motor speed is set by the 2-kΩ pot at the Auxiliary pin of the LT1005. The motor-tach shown has a shaft-torque rating of 20 gram-cMs at 3300 rpm
