Measures depth up to 120 feet and provides lower-intensity echoes from schools of fish. Indicator is neon lamp at end of rotating arm driven by constant-speed motor. Magnet triggers 200-kc ultrasonic transmitter and makes neon lamp glow of zero on circular scale. Lamp glows again for each echo pulse from fish and for bottom echo.-H. C.
