Used with magnetic amplifier to disconnect d-c voltage from section protected by fuse that opens. Output of lower bridge is balanced against output of upper bridge by adjusting R1. Gives greatly increased sensitivity.-J. Maroz, Magnetic Amplifier Detects Open Fuses, Electronics, 31:29, p 86-92.
