AIC1578PS General Description
The AIC1578PS is a high performance step-down DC/DC converter, designed to drive an external P-channel MOSFET to generate programmable output voltages. The device delivers 10mA to 2A of output current with 87%~93% efficiency at VIN=9V, VOUT=5V
condition.
The features of AIC1578PS can be summarized as:(1)4V to 20V Input Voltage Operation; (2)High Efficiency (up to 95%); (3)Low Quiescent Current at 90A; (4)Pulse-Skipping and Pulse-Frequency Modulation; (5)Inputs-Uncommitted Current Sense Comparator; (6)Duty Cycle Adjustable; (7)90KHz to 280KHz Oscillator Frequency; (8)Power-Saving Shutdown Mode (8A Typical); (9)Push-Pull Driver Output.
