FM-980

      FM-980 Series has many products. The Rixson Firemark FM Series electromagnetic door releases hold fire and smoke barrier doors open until released by a remote smoke detector switch, fire alarm control or sprinkler system. In the event of power failure, doors are re-eased to close automatically, but may be opened or closed manually at any time. The door holders have a sprayed aluminum finish. All models feature a "multi-voltage" design, allowing them to operate on 12 VDC, 24 VAC/DC, or 120 VAC, thus simplifying both installation and inventory.
      FM-980 has 3 features: 1. Fail-Safe Operation; 2. Approx. 35 lbs. (15.9 kg) Holding Power; 3. Positive Release Button to InitiateClosing Motion when the Electromagnet is De-Energized.
