Description

The FSQ100 consists of an integrated Pulse WidthModulator (PWM) and SenseFET, specifically designedfor high-performance, off-line, Switch-Mode PowerSupplies (SMPS) with minimal external components.This device is an integrated high-voltage powerswitching regulator that combines a VDMOS SenseFETwith a voltage mode PWM control block. The integratedPWM controller FSQ100 features include a fixed oscillator,Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO) protection, LeadingEdge Blanking (LEB), an optimized gate turn-on/turn-offdriver, Thermal Shutdown FSQ100 (TSD) protection, andtemperature-compensated precision-current sources forloop compensation and fault protection circuitry.

When compared to a discrete MOSFET and controller orRCC solution, the FSQ100 device reduces totalcomponent count and design size and weight, whileincreasing efficiency, productivity, and system reliability.FSQ100 provides a basic platform well suited forcost-effective flyback converters.
