ISD1810X

The ISD1810X is designed as one kind of single-chip, single-message voice record/playback device 8- to 16-second durations which provides high quality, single-chip, single-message, record/playback solution with user-selectable durations of 8 to 16 seconds. The CMOS devices include an on-chip oscillator (with external control), microphone peramplifier, automatic gain control, anti-aliasing filter, multilevel storage array.

The ISD1810X has thirteen features. (1)East to use single-chip, single-message voice record/playback solution. (2)High-quality, natural voice/audio reproduction. (3)Push-botton interface: playback can be edge- or level-activated. (4)Variable record/playback duration controlled by external resistor selection which sets sample rate: 8KHz sample rate 8 seconds and 6.4KHz sample rate 10 seconds, 5.3KHz sample rate 12 seconds and 4KHz sample rate 16 seconds. (5)Automatic power-down mode: enters standby mode immediately following a record or playback cycle and 0.5uA standby current typical. (6)On-chip 8ohms speaker driver. (7)Zero-power message storage: eliminates battery backup circuits. (8)100-year message retention (typical). (9)10000 record cycyle typical. (10)On-chip oscilltor. (11)No algorithm development required. (12)Single +3V power supply. (13)Available in die from and 28-pin 600mil DIP (for sampling only). Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of ISD1810X have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (3)Its voltage applied to any pad would be from Vss-0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (4)Its Vcc-Vss would be from -0.3V to 7.0V. And so on. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

And some DC electrical characteristics of ISD1810X are concluded as follow. (1)Its input low voltage would be max 0.8V. (2)Its input high voltage would be min 2.0V.
