LC66506B

The LC66506B is a kind of 64-pin package type CMOS 4-bit single-chip microcomputer. It contains a ROM, a RAM, I/O ports, a dual 8-bit serial interface, a 4-channel comparator input, a dual 3-level input ports, a 12-bit timer, a 8-bit timer, and provides 11 interrupt sources with 8 vector addresses.

There are some features as follows. First is on-chip 6K-byte ROM, 512*4-bit RAM. The second is instruction set with 127 instructions extended from that of the LC6500 series. Then is I/O ports which is 58 pins. Next is 8-bit serial interface which is 2 lines (16-bit cascade connection available). The fifth is minimum instruction cycle time which is 0.92s (4.3MHz external clock input mode). The sixth is DIP64S and QFP64A(QIP64A) package. The seventh is flexible I/O function. The eighth is runaway detection function (optional). The ninth is 8-bit input/output function. The last one is HALT/HOLD mode-used power down function.

The VI(1) (ports P2, P3 (excluding P33/HOLD), P6 input voltage) is from -0.3 to +15.0 V. The VI(2) (input voltage for other inputs) is from -0.3 to VDD+0.3 V. The VO(1) (ports P2, P3 (excluding P33/HOLD), P5, P6, P7, PA output voltage) is from -0.3 to +15.0 V. The VO(2) (output voltage for other outputs) is from -0.3 to VDD+0.3 V. The Pd max (power dissipation) is 600 mW for DIP42S and 430 mW for QIP48. The Topr (operating temperature) is from -30 to +70. The Tstg (storage temperature) is from -55 to +125.
