The MC145443ADW is designed as one kind of singlechip lowspeed modems and contains a complete frequency shift keying (FSK) modulator, demo-dulator, and filter.Specifications of it are CCITT V.21 (MC145442) and Bell 103 (MC145443).It provides fullduplex or halfduplex 300baud data commun-ication over a pair of telephone lines.It also includes a carrier detect circuit for the demodulator section and a duplexer circuit for direct operation on a telephone line through a simple transformer.
