Description

      The OVSTRGBAC6 is a full-color chip LED with multiple viewing angles and the abitity to produce all colors of the visible spectrum,plus white.This small package.combined with high-light output,is ideal for miniature applications.So it can be applied to automotive(backlighting in dashboard and switches),telecommunications(indicator and backlighting in telephone and fax),flat backlighting(LCDs,membrane switches and symbols) and personal/portable appliances(mobile phones,pagers,audio/video players and GPS).
      The OVSTRGBAC6 has three features.The first one is red/greenn/blue +white in single surface mount package.The second one is about 8 mm tape on 7" reel compatible with automatic placement equipment.The third one is each chip individually addressable to provide color on-demand.
      The OVSTRGBAC6 has some absolute maximum ratings.PD which means power dissipation(per lamp) is 135 mW in green.IF which means DC forward current(per chip) is 40 mA in red and 20 mA in green/blue.IFP which means pulsed forward current is 150 mA in red and 100 mA in green/blue when duty1/10 pulse width 10 msec.The TOPR which means operating temperature is from -30 to +80.TSTG which means storage temperature is from -40 to +100.
      The following is about the electrical characteristics of the OVSTRGBAC6 at TA=25.The maximum of VF which means forward voltage is 2.8 V and the typical of it is 2.0 V under the condition of IF=20 mA.The minimum of IV which means luminous intensity(axial direction) is 62 mcd and the maximum of it is 170 mcd and the typical of it is 100 mcd under the condition of IF=20 mA.The minimum of d which means dominant wavelength is 613.5 nm and the maximum of it is 627.5 nm under the condition of IF=20 mA.The typical of  which means spectral line half width is 20 nm under the condition of IF=20 mA.
