The S-4620A is designed as a CMOS thermal rint head driver containing a 64-bit shift register and a latch. It can be used for general purpose because "H" or "L" can be selected for the latch and the driver enable. It is ideal for the bar-code printer and the thermal print head of high-speed printing because of its large driver output current of 50mA.
S-4620A has eight features. (1)Low current consumption 0.4ma typ (fCLK=5MHz SI: fixed). (2)High speed operation 7MHz chip and 5MHz cascade connection. (3)Driver output voltage is 36V max. (4)Driver output current 50mA max. (5)64-bit shift register and latch are built in. (6)Driver enable. (7)Driver-off function when supply voltage falls. (8)Selectable "H/L" for latch and driver enable. Those are all the main features.

(3)Its driver output current owuld be 50mA. (4)Its input voltage would be from Vss0-0.5V to Vdd+0.5V. (5)Its output voltage would be from Vss0-0.5V to Vdd+0.5V. (6)Its max junction temperature would be 125°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (8)Its operating temperature range would be from -10°C to 80°C.
