SDA9088

The SDA9088 is picture in picture processor. It combines two asynchronous picture sources so that a small moving picture can be superimposed in a moving picture of normal size.

Features of the SDA9088 are:(1)input interface compatible to the data format of the digital multistandard decoder SDA9050/51 if Y,U,V output is used;(2)decimation of the Y,U,V output is used;(3)decimation of the Y,U,V data for pictures sizes 1/9 and 1/16;(4)intermediate storage of the inset picture;(5)readout of the data in the parent window,framing,generation of a SELECT signal;(6)interpolation of the chrominance data rate to the luminance data rate;(7)RGB- or Y-,U-,V- signal generation;(8)D/A conversion;(9)generation of an internal parent clock for an analog system environment from the sandcastle pulse by means of PLL.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SDA9088 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage:-1V to 6V;(2)HSP/SAND:-1V to 10.5V;(3)all the rest:-1V to 6V;(4)ambient temperature:-20 to 70;(5)storage temperature:-20 to 125;(6)power dissipation:1W.
