The SI9185DMP-30-T1 is designed as a 500mA CMOS LDO (low dropout) voltage regulator. The SI9185DMP-30-T1 device features ultra low ground current and dropout voltage to prolong battery life in portable electronics. It offers line/load transient response and ripple rejection superior to that of bipolar or BiCMOS LDO regulators, and is designed to drive lower cost ceramic, as well as tantalum, output capacitors.
SI9185DMP-30-T1 has thirteen features. (1)Input voltage 2V to 6V. (2)Low 150mV dropout at 500mA load. (3)Guaranteed 500mA output current. (4)Uses low ESR ceramic output capacitor. (5)Fast load and line transient response. (6)Only 100uVrms noise with noise bypass capacitor. (7)1uA maximum shutdown current. (8)Built-in short circuit and thermal protection. (9)Out-of-regulation error flag (power good POR). (10)Fixd 3.0V or adjustable output voltage options. (11)Other output voltages available by special order. (12)1.1W power dissipation.
