The USD335C is designed as one kind of two schottky barriers arranged in a common cathode configuration and is ideally suited for a full wave output rectifier in low voltage switching power supplies.

USD335C has seven features. (1)Very low forward voltage. (2)Low recovered charge. (3)Rugged package design (TO-3). (4)High efficiency for low voltage supplies. (5)45V blockig at rated temperature. (6)50V repetitive surge voltage. (7)Dual schokkty rectifier in a single package. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of USD335C have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its average rectified forward current would be 30A. (2)Its working peak reverse voltage would be 35V. (3)Its peak rectified forward voltage would be 42V. (4)Its average rectified forward current would be 30A in full wave configuration. (5)Its non-repetitive peak surge current 8.3ms would be 500A. (6)Its peak reverse transient current would be 2A. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 200°C. (8)Its peak temperature range would be 175°C. (9)Its peak operating junction temperature would be 175°C. (10)Its thermal resistance junction to case would be 1.4°C/W. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of USD335C are concluded as follow. (1)Its maximum instantaneous reverse current would be 10mA at Tc=25°C and would be 50mA at Tc=125°C. (2)Its maximum instantaneous forward voltage would be 0.57V at If=10A, Tc=25°C and would be 0.66V at If=20A and Ic=25°C and would be 0.60V at If=20A and Tc=125°C pulse width=300us and duty cycle=1 percent. (3)Its capacitance would be 2000pF at Vr=5.0V. (4)Its voltage rate of charge would be 1000V/us. And so on.
