      The VZU-6997V series are designed as 750 watt TWT medium power amplifier which have the features of high efficiency in an environmentally sealed compact package designed for outdoor operation.
      VZU-6997V has seven features.Thr first one is that it could be played in the rain which provides 750 watts of power in a rugged and compact weatherproof package, digital ready,for wideband, single- and multi-carrier satellite service in the 13.75 - 14.50 (VZU-6997V7) or 12.75 - 14.50 GHz (VZU-6997VA) frequency band. Ideal for transportable and fixed earth station applications.The second one is that it would cost effective and efficient.With mounting at the antenna improves performance through minimized cable losses and saves cost in system design.And also through employing a high efficiency,dualdepressed collector helix traveling wave tube,reducing operating costs.The third one is that it would be reliable.It is designed and built to survive in extremely adverse environmental conditions and features increased cooling margin for longer life.The fourth one is that it would be simple to operate.With integrated RS422/485 computer interface,The users would be easy to know the user-friendly microprocessor-controlled logic.Also with digital metering, pin diode attenuation and optional integrated linearizer for improved intermodulation performance.The fifth one is it  is easy to maintain.With modular design and built-in fault diagnostic capability via remote monitor and control which would make the customers feel good.The sixth one is its global applications.It meets International safety standard EN-60215,electromagnetic compatibility 2004/108/EC and harmonic standard EN-61000-3-2 to satisfy worldwide requirements.The last one is about its worldwide support.The CPI company has a worldwide 24-hour customer support network that includes fi fteen regional factory service centers and also has three decades of satellite communications experience.That would be trustful and helpful fir the customers.
      Some important specification have been concluded into several points.The first one is about its frequency which would be 13.75 to 14.50 GHz (VZU-6997V7) or 12.75 to 14.50 GHz (VZU-6997VA).The second one is about its bandwidth which would be 750 MHz or 1750 MHz.The Third one is about ambient temperature -40°C to +55°C when operating including solar loading and -40°C to +75°C when non-operating.
      Six options should be noted.The first one is integral linearizer.The second one is remote control panel.The third one is redundant and hybrid power combined systems.The fourth one is integrated 1:1 switch control and drive.The fourth one is external receive band reject filter (Increases loss by a minimum of 50 dB up to 13.5 GHz for 13.75 GHz HPA, or up to 11.7 GHz with 12.75 HPA).The last one is about L-Band block up converter (BUC) --- for specifications see MKT-90B or TD-104.BUC is available in frequency bands 13.75 to 14.0 GHz or 12.75 to 13.25 GHz only.
