Whenthere isincoming ray, the transistor connected tothe photoresistor LDR in this circuitis inhigh level or zero level. Transistor magnification coefficient β>100 is enough, photoresistance is between 100Ω~100KΩ, which isseparately corresponding to light irradiation and dark situations. If you want to control the load with high power, you should adopt darlington transistors.
