Description

The REG113EA-3/2K5 is one member of the REG113 family which is designed as the low-noise, low-dropout, 400mA linear regulator. This device can be used in (1)portable communication devices; (2)battery-powered equipment; (3)personal digital assistants; (4)modems; (5)bar-code scanners; (6)backup power supplies. And it is available in SOT23-5 and MSOP-8 packages.

Features of the REG113EA-3/2K5 are:(1)cap-free dmos topology: ultra low dropout voltage: 250mV typ at 400mA output capacitor not required for stability; (2)up to 500mA peak, typical; (3)fast transient response; (4)very low noise: 28Vrms; (5)high accuracy: ±1.5% max; (6)high efficiency: IGND = 850A at IOUT = 400mA and not enabled: IGND = 0.01A; (7)2.5V, 2.85V, 3.0V, 3.3V, and 5.0V output versions; (8)other output voltages available upon request; (9)foldback current limit; (10)thermal protection; (11)small surface-mount packages: SOT23-5 and MSOP-8.
