BOT is one of very few companies manufacturing ATEX and IECEx certified Opto Couplers or Opto Isolators in the world. The range of opto couplers include high speed ATEX/ECEx, high voltage opto couplers and 10kV ATEX & IECEx certified surface mount opto couplers. In addition to the standard range of transistor or high speed logic output types in hole or surface mount configuration, BOT can manufacture custom designs under BASEEFA licence from the customers. Special selections such as CTR at different forward currents are readily available. Besides, BOT is an expert in designing and manufacturing custom IR products. Therefore, BOT has a standard range of switches and packaged IR components. As the leadfree surface mount processes continue, BOT has developed the OPI5000  series of optically coupled isolators which is designed for applications requiring ATEX certification and  high voltage isolation between input & output.
