AXTAL was established in 2003 by the TELE QUARZ's previous top manager alos a physicist and electronic engineer,Bernd Neubig.The legal name of the entity is AXTAL GmbH & Co. KG.AXTAL stands for Advanced XTAL Products, where "XTAL" is a common abbreviation of "crystals".The staff has more than 50 years of experience in the quartz crystal industry.AXTAL's facilities are located in Southern Germany,close to Heidelberg which is called "Crystal Valley Area"  with the administration in Lobbach, the R&D Lab and the production facility in Mosbach,the Center of young entrepreneurs called "Ideenwerkstatt".

AXTAL focuses on the Design, Development, Production, Testing, and the Sales of Frequency Control Products and Piezo Sensors, which include crystal resonators, crystal oscillators, crystal filters and modules containing quartz and other piezoelectric crystal units, such as Langasite (LGS) and Langatage (LGT).AXTAL's Frequency Control Products are primarily designed for the use in RF broadcast (Transmitters, Relay stations, Repeaters), test and measurement systems，RF and Microwave industry including Radar，Satellite Communication，airborne applications，Military (COTS and MIL-PRF-55310 products)，Professional Audio/Video equipment，telecommunication Infrastructure (wireless，wireline，access) and the Wireless voice & data communication.AXTAL's Piezo sensors are intended for applications such as automotive (engine control of pressure， temperature，viscosity，tyre pressure etc.),wireless RFID for rugged environment and for high temperatures，force sensors，Scientific & Research such as in biotechnology，etc.

With well established Quality Management System (QMS) as documented and fixed in our Quality Management Handbook (QMH),AXTAL assures a high level of quality and reliability of the products.AXTAL applies a controlled design process including a number of verification steps and a final validation in the customer application from the product design phase.AXTAL has tight control of the well-documented manufacturing processes (SPC), numerous in-line tests and inspections including a 100 % final inspection of the manufactured products and a traceable data base of the test results through the production process.Besides,AXTAL establishes a system of continuous improvement through our quality circle with members from R&D, production, and qualtity management.AXTAL's quality system and processes has won the support and recognization from the major customers.AXTAL has obtained the ISO9001:2008 quality management system certification.Unlike most distributors of Frequency Control Products, AXTAL can do in-house testing, screening, and qualification tests of crystals, oscillators and filters based on recognized IEC and MIL standards. AXTAL is dedicted to providing customers qualified support to solve problems in their particular application.
