NIC Components Corporation was established in USA, in 1982, while NIC Components Europe Ltd and NIC Components Asia Pte Ltd. in 1997 and 1998. NIC Components Corporation is a designer, manufacturer and worldwide supplier of passive components. NIC maintains engineering offices in Japan and Taiwan that oversee the production facilities in Asia. Warehouse and sales offices in North America, Southeast Asia and Europe support customer logistics and service requirements.

From a core business of Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors, NIC expanded its product offering to Tantalum Capacitors, Ceramic Capacitors, Film Capacitors, Thick and Thin Film Resistive Products and a growing line of Power Inductors and Ferrite Chip Beads.
