New Japan Radio [JRC]

Saitama Japan Radio Co. Ltd. was founded in Sep. 1959. Then in Mar., 1961 its name changed to New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. In Dec., 1961 JRC became a joint venture between Japan Radio Co., Ltd. and Raytheon Company. In Jul., 1962 JRC took over the manufacturing division of semiconductors from Japan Radio Co., Ltd. and took over the sales divisions of microwave tubes and semiconductors from Japan Radio Co., Ltd. in Apr., 1963.

During 1965 to 1992, JRC established Saga Electronics Co., Ltd., Kansai Field Office, New Japan Radio Trading Co., Ltd., NJR CORPORATION (USA), Sendai Field Office, Chichibu Microworks Co., Ltd., THAI NJR CO., LTD., and NJR (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD. In 1994 JRC acquired Certificate of Quality Management System ISO-9001 and acquired Certificate of Environment Management System ISO-14001 in 1997. In Oct.,2000 JRC was listed in the 2nd Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. JRC established NJR Service Co., Ltd. in 2001 and was listed in the 1st Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2002. In 2003 NJR FUKUOKA CO., LTD. was established. In Mar., 2007 JRC acquired Certificate of Quality Management System ISO/TS16949 and in 2008 NJR SHANGHAI CO., LTD was established. The products of JRC include Microwave tubes and Radar Components, Microwave tubes, Radar Components, Cathodes, Microwave application products, Microwave Components, Semiconductors, Integrated Circuits and Semiconductor-Devices.

JRC provides ingenious products and creates attractive quality by focusing on customers' expectations and needs. JRC ensures quality meets customers' needs by continuing improvement of quality activities in all product processes. JRC sets annual quality targets that all members work together to achieve. JRC uses the PDCA cycle effectively as a quality management system for the company's basic management system to prevent recurrence of problems.
